  • @kaihamil just my old Canon 200 sitting level on the kitchen counter when I shot this. All the goofy looking vid I had assumed was due to how close I was but then focused on the computer screen. Whatever we all know it's real and how I had made it work.

  • You need to do your homework first before calling fake. It makes you sound stupid, really it does.

This video and the many other on Youtube of the EEE playing some fairly high end games are quite real.

running my EEE at 900Mhz with 2gig RAM (though people run Halo fine with only 512meg RAM) and it works quite well. Check out "eeuser DOT com" in the forums for more info and all the stuff that works on this little guy.

  • Do you have 512mb of ram or 1gb installed on that system?

  • 2gig RAM installed and running everything for XP from a 30gig USB IDE drive

  • you should try running your OS on a quick decently sized flash, like the corsair voyager gt. I plan on running a 16gb non gt and a 8gb gt for OS all internal on mine. should be getting it this week. should help with load times and i/o's per second compaired to a usb hd

  • Yeah, I have actually switched since doing this video. I have the OS installed on the local SDD now and use an 8gb SD card C6 for most of main storage. Still using that 30gig for a lot of games and programs. Hopefully I change it soon to a touch bigger unit, but can't beat the cheap space it offers.

  • Do you think a emachines netbbok would be able to run like this?I'm just saying all that it says for the stuff.

    Led lcd 1024x600

    Intel aom

  • @Strafnik13 It did look fake back then... ... The video seems too good there's blur everywhere but on the screen. CGI is my guess...

  • Hi there, I've recently bought a Samsung Win7 Starter, is it possible for me to run old video games? such as GTA3, anything from Ps2 and Xbox days, but for PC platform.

I'm afraid, I might be forcing my Notebook, leading to damage itself.

Did you experience any unusual activity on your PCnotebook when playing Halo?

  • looks horrible but.... playable

  • SoFLazerTag you can use sodtwares like hypercam or camcorder to record

  • no mouse???

  • By the way, to get it smoother, in the framerate option select "No VSYNC"

  • Wprd pf advice guys, Eeepc are NOT made for gaming... There just made for internet surfing, e-mails and word processing :P

But hey not bad for a tiny little machine

  • Wait a minute, you run EVERYTHING off the 30GB IDE drive? You run your os off the 4GB SSD, right? Whats your left over space looking like. I got 1.5GB left on my 4GB and I partitioned the 16GB SSD into two 8GB partitions. (i have the eee pc 901)
