Train # 4 was due here at 5:20 AM this morning, and HIGHBALLED by me at my location in South Topeka at around 8:07 PM. From what I understand, they lost the trailing locomotive at Needles, Ca. yesterday, and picked up BNSF # 5079 (C44-9W) there. Trailing #5079 were P-42 #'s 153, 146, and 136. I don't know if they have any way to disarm the "Alerter" on the C44-9W. If they don't; there's a good chance that it won't run over 74 mph. without going into "EMERGENCY." If any of you out there have a BNSF "Freight Ticket," please let me know, so my curiosity can be satisfied. My location this evening was at the South end of the SW Topeka Blvd. Railroad Bridge, and what a great place to shoot. THANKS to Mr. Porter at the throttle, and his fine crew for being kind enough to wave and give us some nice horn! I know that you've had your hands full, and I hope that the ride through Emporia in that Dash 9 didn't dislodge any kidney stones. THANKS to Jim Woods for logistic assistance, and to MY KELLY, who got BLOWN DOWN FLAT...getting a still of this train, while I was filming this video! AND....THANKS to YOU for watching!....Doc n' Kelly
Nice work Doc, hope that pictures of Kelly's turned out alright!

The first one was good. The wind put her on her butt, when 5079 passed her, so the other ones weren't so hot....THANKS!...Doc
