I have no idea really. Because of track work late runs are by bus. Maybe they needed to get an extra train up to Portland for one of morning runs to Boston.

Ever try to get shot at the Downeaster going over the Wildcat line in Wilmington at the Salem Road or Rte 38 Crossings? The video would be great with the sounds of crossing signals. Keep up the good work.
