@jay2theloo I think it's more convenient to record to an external sequencer and then copy the beats, samples, etc to an usb stick and play it with your Roland. The external sequencer gives you total control over the sound you're recording. I prepare my loops this way for live performances.
Some nice piano sounds IN STEREO (sounds awful in mono). So many useless functions though, it's a nightmare to use live. I sold mine recently and bought a Nord Stage EX88, way better sounds (imo) & a true live musician's piano. RD has good action, but the keys get dirty quickly (especially after many live gigs) because of the 'ivory feel' coating - it's porous! Good playing dude!
