  • @LCalavicci i know where you're going but you slightly off....check wikipedia for the complete info on familly classe etcetera and you'll see that they are in the same stam but after that its a long distance from eachother but than again you can see a good difference between a eel and a knifefish. what you say is like saying i cant ssee a difference between a housecat and a tiger couse they are related..;) btw even cats are in the same stamorder as the eels, so you should check info first...

  • @dockwerker @RWaltman420 While he's incorrect about them being ghost khifefish, I can understand the confusion. Electric eels are a type of knifefish, the largest of them actually. They are not eels at all. Thus they have similar body shape to the ghost knife and its relatives, namely the undulating anal fin that extends along the length of the body. So before you start raging about "dumb people" maybe you should know a few facts yourself. :)

  • @WireMan7620 For some reason, eels can't shock each other. I've seen them squashed together in a group on "River Monsters"

  • @georgeandisaac ghost knife....you really mean that?? have you ever seen a ghost knife,,,?? i hate the fact that people on youtube just give animals names without knowing what they talk about...calling catfish sharks and now this?? damn dumb people make me sad....

  • hahahaha....no they are most certainly not ghost knifes...but nice totally uniformed answer...

  • just to let u know they are ghost nife fish! not electric ells

  • How do they keep them from killing each other?! I'm impressed that they can pull this off.

  • swim there

  • CPR for your balls

  • I thought that electric eels only had 650 volts?
