  • The first comment 'This is Wing Chun' come from the fact that Wing Chun also uses sensitivity training known as Chi Sau. Chronologically it is likely that Chi Sau developed from pushing hands to train Ving Chun practitioners in application and sensitivity. Chi Sau is more dependant on physical limb strength then pushing hands which utilises natural trunk and rooting techniques to a greater extent conserving energy in combat. Also the techniques in ChiSau are Mo offensive then Taji deflective

  • As for being an Indian martial art I think that this is being confused as the internal aspect of Kung-Fu and later Tai Chi is often attributed to the teachings of bodhidharma the indian prince who visited china and delivered his teaching regarding meditation which was then combined with martial arts physical training as a way to cleanse and focus the mind.

  • @80KungFu dont mean to be rude but kung fu does not come from indian martial arts. kung fu was born through chinas wars in ancient times where they needed to find a way to defeat there enemies so then kung fu was brought out. kung fu is southern and northern kung fu this means that the turm kung fu means the style is from both north and south of china. shaolin kung fu is different, shaoin come just from the northern side of china and was found be a shoalin monk.

  • @80KungFu actually ur wrong takwondo was not based off of karate. It was also made in Korea

  • No its not Wing Chun! There are similarities between all martial arts. Kung Fu comes from Indian martial, Karate comes from Kung Fu, Taekwondo is inspired by Karate, Kickboxing comes from Asian and European martial, so you see it would be strange if they didnt have some connection with each other when they actually is based on one another.

  • I like this exericse and plan on using it with my tai chi students later this week.

  • cool exersize thanks

  • Dis is wing chun........
