Some comments here mention fluoride which is in our water. It would be hard to grow all your own food especially with limited space. The main thing is the laws that protect our food are being repealed to comply with these trade laws. We will slowly be poisoned.

I heard that there was a study recently of my area's tap water, and that the water included amounts of pharmecuticals like birth control and anti-depressants. Scary or what?

I really get frustrated at how BIG PHARMA and the FDA and congress just keep ignoring all of the people fighting against codex. Many of our liberties are infringed upon today, but health freedom??? It's huge. I'm 'bout to bring the rukkus ;)

But what's wrong about it? We do it because we know how to get it. That's why we're one of the longest living animals on earth. Give your dog a bowl of milk and a bowl of water and check which one he'll choose. Realize there's some reason for that we live two or three times longer than prehistoric man.

Cooking is pretty recent in evolutionary terms, and our stomachs and bodies were gradually constructed in tandem with the kinds of raw things that were being eaten throughout evolution. My point is that the stomach and bodies design will not yet have completely adapted to the very recent turn to cooked food. Cooked food can become more masticated, but it becomes deficient in enzymes and some nutrients, and the molecular structure of some substances changes, like the proteins.

Yep. And that's why average life lenght increased from 30 to 70 years during those millions of years. This only prooves how unnatural and bad cooking is.

i agree we are the only one to use Money. the rest i'm not so sure. You are indeed doing some 'outside the box' inquiries in TN. this is awesome. But No chewing?? Chewing is the 1st stage of digestion. Why would you say "Cave men probably never ate meat "? Being a land based Minority mammal, 'cave men' would have most likely been omnivores to degrees ,like us. We cook food that we arent adept to eating raw(yet/again) . Keep this in mind.
