Valerie Jarrett: Obama's No Stranger to Fighting Back

March 14, 2010 -- As part of the Women in the World Summit, President Obama's senior adviser, Valerie Jarrett, sat down with 60 Minutes' Lesley Stahl to discuss important political issues and the challenges women face in the workplace. In this clip, Jarrett said the president may be dogged by flagging poll numbers and relentless criticism, but hes not letting the negativity get to him. Not that long ago he was 30 points down in the national polls, and everybody was saying the same thing. Why isn't he fighting back? Why isn't he punching back? Jarrett said. But he is President of the United States, so that worked out pretty well.
