Actually, polar bear hair strands are hollow, and so the algal growth is inside each strand of hair, not underneath the fur.

Actually, natural Polar Bear's fur are a bit yellowish in color. They looked white because of the reflection from the snow in Antarctica.

Because, he's the first and only Polar Bear to be born in the tropics right here in Singapore Zoo.
By the way, how long ago was this video taken? Because this had happened before, and they treated him already. Furthermore, they installed 2 more air-cons to cool down the temperature.
