2007 PIR NASA tallguy2 3 onboard

On October 6, 2007, the Dezert Focus gang attacked Phoenix International Raceway's 11-turn road course for a day of NASA HPDE fun. This video is an onboard video of Brendan (tallguy2.3 on FocalJet) and his 2005 Ford Focus ST during the second session of the day. In the passenger seat, providing a little extra right side ballast, was myself.

We were at the back of the line, and got a mostly clear session to crank out some very good lap times. The only cars that passed us were two Corvettes and a Porsche 911, while we passed two more 911's during the session. Overall it was a TON of fun, the first time I had ever ridden along during a full track event. Hopefully sometime in 2010, I will be able to take my Cougar to an HPDE and start having some fun with these guys!
