  • @MrRastaman1945 I think Eugen Sandow was even more fit than Bruce lee.

eugen sandow was a: powerlifter, strength demonstrator(bent steel or lifted huge weights with one arm over his head), was an acrobat, gymnast, and many other things.

and in his 40's his health was still like he were a 30 year old, his body aged very slowly

  • i mean people BRUCE LEE (RIP) was and will still be for a while yet the fittest man that ever lived

  • was that mark cuban?

  • @Mv181293 dude that is no problem! You gotta talk about it! That way you always learn new stuff!

  • @swissfa18 Ok ^^.

A Crossfitter wants to be good in everything and in 6 different workouts (each workout with a few movements). Is the last test to test everything what is called fitness. So if you win that game,, you are a beast :P

(ps: I'm talking maybe to much about that, sorry for that, but I'm obsessed with it (really addictive))

  • @Mv181293 you dont have to justify your answer, I'm not at all a contador fan :P I just found it interesting, what he's able to do! And I think there is no such thing as absolute fitness! If you train one thing, then the other part is gona suffer! Thats the way it is! Everyone has to decide for himself, what is the most important ability for himself and train this! You can't be perfect.

  • @swissfa18 Positive effects to speed and strength yes. But is not directly coupled.

I don't say he isn't at shape, but not the fittest man. Some say marathonrunners are the fittest, but with experiments and you can almost say they are way from the fittest.

Cause Crosfitters train al kinds of fitness, the winner of the championship can call him/herself the fittest man on earth.

But still the same: I have respect for alberto contador and his performance ;)

  • @Mv181293 thats true! You've just given the definition of condition ! But its a matter of fact, that you can achieve more performance in everything if your circulation and your ability to transport oxygene is as high as possible! This has positive effects on your speed, your strength, your endurance and so on ! The only exeption are technical skills and balance...

  • @swissfa18 That's not only fitness. Fitness is about being good at everything. It's about speed, respiratory endurance, agility, flexibility, power, strength, cardiovascular, balance, stamina and coordination.

Crossfit is all about that. And with high intensity is the best way.

  • i've heard that the spanish cyclist alberto contador has a lung volume nd a blood circulation, like nobody has ever had before! So i guess he's maybe as fit o even fitter, but i don't wana claim anything...
