Got another quick clip of some barley straw being baled up by the Massey utfit - there's a piece in the middle showing the plunger system close up as it works its way through the straw

  • I must be older than you,I did a lot of work with a 68 hayliner, now live in BC Canada moved up to a McHale fusion 2.

  • @crumyards Yeah, I never got to do any baling but the 278 must have made over 100,000 bales in its time... It was great but in latter years of its operaton, it used to break shear bolts like hell if it wasnt driven hard enough...

Most of the last 17 years have been taken up with Welgers, Claas Rollant 46's, Krones and McHale Fusions.... dont get to see as much now as I'd like to as I've moved away from home!

  • mf 20,the best baler ever made, this one needs a few more revs.

  • @crumyards yeah, its a good baler allright.... grew up with a NH 278 Hayliner myself as the main piece of the hay making experience.

  • what baler is that?

  • @huwg3 Will find out at the weekend for you.....
