On July 27, 2008 my sister was killed in a head on collision when another driver lost consciousness and crossed into oncoming traffic. She was on her way back to Texas A&M College Station where she was a 4th year Vet Medicine student. She had just gotten engaged that weekend and when I last saw her she was the happiest I can remember.

Her fellow students have set up a Scholarship at the school in her memory.

Cassandra was a fan of Journey and "Remember Me" seemed like a fitting song for this tribute.

If you knew Cassandra please feel free to leave comments. We always enjoy hearing stories of how she touched the lives of others. There have been so many it seems.

I love you Cassandra. I will keep you with me forever.

  • I remember her from engineering and when she was in band and I was in flag corps. She was one of the most honest and genuine people I ever met. I can't believe she's gone. My heart goes out to all those her knew and loved her - especially her family and her fiancee. I know she'll really be missed.

  • My deepest sympathies for your loss. I suppose they needed a vet for the rainbow bridge in the sky. God bless.

  • Cassandra was one of my good friends that I grew up with in High School at Sherman, Texas. She always said hi and asked how I was doing. I still cannot believe to this day that she is gone. I was in her graduating class. I am the same age. I will always keep her family in my prayers. May God bless you guys and keep you strong.
