oh my god. this movie is a reflection of my life in the house of my grandmother. All the women, trying to impress the husband(in my case all the women trying to impress the grandfather) manipulating and evil. Brilliant. They treat me just like that. The grandfather likes(or at least liked) me, so they stab. All my aunts. Stab.

Gong Li gave one of the top 5 performances of all time by an actress in this masterpiece. This was the best film from the 1990's.

The entire movie cannot be posted for 2 reasons:
The movie is WAY too long, and it would be illegal to do so. Posting a small clip isnt completely legal either but if *I* made this movie I would appreciate a bit of promotion once in a while.
That being said, the movie is available in bitorrent swarms :)
