I'm on a journey to embrace my god given highlights and found out that I can still be me even with the gray!!! The saying that it ages you is a truly a myth for some because it looks like it has enhanced the beauty of some women!...This is my personal journey that I wanted to share. Not hating my many gray strands. However, does anyone find that gray natural hair acts differently than your non-gray hair? I find my gray hair does not straighten easily or has a mind of its own and sticks up at times instead of laying flat. :) Anyone have a remedy for this?

@KissynnU yes my gray strands are harder to tame then the rest of my hair but I do not have a remedy

I've always embraced my gray! The Bible says it's a symbol of wisdom, so I focused more on my fitness. I'm 47 and can do more physically than many young ladies =) Just checkout my vids! Glad that you are proud to be yourself!

I have silver locks---3 years and I love them. they compliment my dark brown skin and I get a lot of compliments.

It was not an issue for me. I find beauty in every age and I like the one I'm in . I am 59.

The obsession to look young is a European, male supremacy mindset that I thoroughly reject.
