Possibly the cutest couple that never was. To those viewers who may be wondering what the hell this is about, neither Scribbs nor Ash were acknowledged as gay or even bisexual characters in Murder in Suburbia. However, after sitting through hours of footage from Series 1 to make this vid and Series 2 to make the second addition, Im pretty sure Scribbs is NOT 100% heterosexual. The script may have said otherwise i.e. shagging a different bloke every week, a modern woman, career minded, living like a ladette, cant hold a boyfriend down = great comedy fodder. ITV were very careful not to offend middle England with their quaint and quirky murder show (an attractive gay female detective or at least one that bats for both teams on Prime Time TV?, yeah, dont think so, sadly British TV wasnt ready to make that leap 5 years ago and not a lot has changed since). Strange then that how quickly they got into the script the notion that Sullivan might be gay or so our girls thought as he showed no interest in the opposite sex. Gay or suggested gay male characters = funny, gay or suggested female gay characters = controversial and unsellable or worse, only suitable for late night Channel 5 just kidding, they show L&O:SVU now, so its not all bad.
Anyway, rant over, please enjoy and be sure to watch the video to the end to find out how you can join the fight to bring back Murder in Suburbia!
this isn't your fault so dont take this offensively but for crying out loud there not lesbians !!!!!!!! :@

@LoveCCxxx As previous comment: I'm quite aware that neither of them are gay but there's a huge fandom which would have liked to have seen them as a couple and there's a fair bit of subtext to be read into throughout the show. Not to everyone's tastes I'm sure, but editing videos a certain way makes the viewer see those characters in the way they COULD have been written and it's a fun spin of their relationship.
