Stupid village girl, she seduced Mowgli and he left his friends, and the panther says it was for his own good.. It's all this culture/developmental manipulation.
I myself would have been glad to live in a jungle if just about every living creature in it was able to communicate.

Yeah, I always hated that village girl. Mowgli was a chump to follow her into the village, even if Bagheera was egging him on. Who needs girls when you can spend all day picking prickly pears with a dancing, singing bear?
