yeah you will get better at it man, I had trouble with hills... now it's EZ. Once you get the friction zone feeling keep the clutch there and just give more throttle and as the momentum increases let out... you know this of course it's just getting your body to get use to doing it really good.

I had the same prob when i first rode my friends 100cc dirt bike, after a few hours I got used to it, and im sure when i get my Ninja 650r ill have the same prob, but much like you all it take is practice right =)

this vid is old so u may b a pro already but jst take ur time? i jst got my bike bk in may and its a gixxer 600 k7 (model befor urs) and i woz doin the same thing coz i wud panick and stall if sumone hit the horn at me or make me try to hurry bt now regardless i always take my time and if sumone hits ther horn at me well they get the finger or a boot to ther side door..punks!

I agree on starting off on any size bike you want. I mean it's ultimately up to the rider to be safe or to be stupid. Some people who swears by starting on a 250 get mad that newbies are starting on something bigger. I my first bike and still currant bike is a 600 and I just take it easy.

Don't be embarrassed. Everyone stalls them when they're learning. You'll get the hang of it after practicing. When I first got started I stalled all the time. It only took a week or two and I never had the problem again.
