How to Fix Broken Eye Glasses (When Snapped in Half)

I broke my glasses without having a spare and my eyesight is horrible so my glasses are no where near cheap. This is the remedy I came up with 2AM in the morning after trying various methods to fix my glasses (like hot gluing it).

Hope this helps anyone with the same problem I had! =)

Personally, I recommend soldering.  It takes like 5 minutes, and it's very easy to do.

@Hilltopperpete I took them to a place in the mall and they try to solder them but it didn't work. I think it depends on the material of your frames. And honestly this is only an emergency measure.

Interesting but bad camera angle..couldnt see very well because your hand was in the way.

Well I don''t have a tripod or anything, tried to prop up the camera the best way I can ^^;

my glasses are snapped down the middle its 1 bar across and my glasses broke on the left side completly clean. i dont no wat to do i cant use wire cus only the right side has the bar left side has a hole can anyone help me. i dont have any insurance and i cant afford new glasses and my eye site it little worse than sh!t.

I did something similar with a paperclip instead of jewelry wire. Made a very temporary fix. I have them on right now.

I unknowingly lost my backup ones so I'm stuck with my broken in half glasses temporarily fixing it with foil tape (T^T)
