  • It's japanese custom to cover thumb when we see hearse.

  • Yes! But not in every city. In Nagoya, yes. In other cities, I'm not sure.

  • Oyayubi=Thumb In Japanese, Oyayubi means Parent's finger. If you see the black car, ,the superstitio says, you have to cover your thumbs. If you do not, something bad may happen to your parents because your Oyayubi were exposed to the situation.
