But i believe its because she feels not only forced into a marriage with man that she hates, but she hates being in a world (1st class) that is so dull and everyone is always concerned about money. Rose just wants to live, and because she's apart of higher society, she would rather be dead then have to face that control her whole life. But then there was jack.....
