Your reasoning is very much a fallacy because you're assuming that you have proper understanding of the conditions, which you do not. The conditions and culture of those times would have to be the exact same way as it is today for your argument to make any sense, but historically, the conditions were NOT. There, you cannot logically assume any psychological manipulation ever took place. You have no good evidence to back that up at all. It's that simple.

@MrRastaVibrations it's a contradiction to other translations like the NLT Deu 22:28 "Suppose a man has intercourse with a young woman who is a virgin but is not engaged to be married. If they are discovered, Deu 22:29 he must pay her father fifty pieces of silver. [fn] Then he must marry the young woman because he violated her, and he may never divorce her as long as he lives.

@WorldMilitia Killing non-believers is in the Koran, snf the fact that you don't know that The bible is based on a JEWISH belief, not white man's belief, is enough do not even worry about the rest of your post.
I'm not brainwashed, I'm perfectly fine and made my own decision based on my studies

@Krazie316 what about all the verses that say stone someone for working on the sabath, kill non-beleivers, women should stay silent in the church. Dude, face it, as a black man, you were brainwashed into the white man belief in the church. The africans had more spiritual way of life before the white man purchased them. If you wanna believe in god, thats cool. but burry the bible

@MrRastaVibrations No I didn't skim over the NASB usage. Like I said I'm a King James Onlyist. and since the word used was FROM THE KING JAMES, I used the concordance which RELATES to the KING JAMES.
I also showed how this word was NEVER used in any verse in the bible for rape and how the actual verse for rape 2 or 3 verses prior to the one being challenged is the actual rape where a completely different word is used. Furthermore that word is used for several rape verses.

@MrRastaVibrations No I'm afraid I DID NOT leave anything out I read ALL of the words HOWEVER not all of the words fit in with the context of EVERY usage of the word. Those are all only English words associated with the use of the Greek word. Context of this verse however shows it's a figurative (ideological, not literal) verb. I backed this up with the cross referencing scripture given in the video.

@MrRastaVibrations Again no real bible study person uses that trash

@MrRastaVibrations Too bad the NIV is garbage, no real bible study person uses that trash full of contradictions
Gotta love it ! Of course we're all misinterpreting it and taking it out of context -_- ... christian have the right answers ! Of course the "NIV" is a wrong bible, wrong translation ! ... this is coming from an EX-Christian that is now an agnostic !

And you also left out "Seize, Chiefly to Capture, to use unwarrantably, hold, stop, surprise, take.
When those words are used in relation to sex, it sounds like rape to me.
