This is a 1960's Eaton Viking portable radio. I paid 7 dollars for it in a thrift store, and it is in very good condition. It is housed in a leatherette case, which is very well preserved. If anyone has any info on this radio, let me know.

  • It works well for it's age, likely very late 60's or early 70's. Nice shape! Made for Eaton's by Panasonic?

  • It said Matsushita on most of the components inside. Thanks!

  • I like the vernier tuning dial. This would be a good DXer on AM at night. Great find. Many radios of this age have bad capacitors. Not this one!

  • You can't even find "Made in Japan" anymore. Even the bad version of the "good old days" is gone.

  • beautifull little radio well working i love the lokk of the tansistors off the sixties

  • nice looks like my das old philco!
