This track is epic....this takes me back to when i played with mike last year with the national youth jazz orchestra of Scotland :) i played fourth trumpet and loved every second.... we performed the complete album :D

Scofield's not British! Where's Holdsworth in your list?

He is, together with John McLaughlin and John Scofield, not only one of the top three British guitarists but also a brilliant and very versatile composer (plus, not to forget, very funny entertainer). I was lucky to talk to him just a few days ago at the Pizza Express jazz club in London for the beginning of his tour as part of The Impossible Gentleman's Quartet (plus Steve Swallow, Adam Nussbaum, Gwilym Simcock). Highly recommended!
