This is a new series dedicated to the daring few who have ventured the taxing path of the SB way. I am thrilled to showcase a singularly wonderful, awe-striking and gifted Vainika Shri Parthasarathy.
The mainstream world of Carnatic music has kept this wonderful talent from the eyes and ears of the public. Why? Possibly because he is an exponent known more in film music. Are we so blind and so lacking of a conscience to not see his enormous talent, vidwat, virtuosity, knowledge and expertise? In way the society (we) at large should shoulder the blame for such blatant artistic unfairness. It is our duty to stand up for one in who we see a grand and divine gift. We as unknown faces of a population have the power to make things right. We should make sure in each of our possible ways that such talent gets their respectful place in the artistic forum - be as a concert, or even as a word of mouth; so many more would be be given a chance to experience their gift and be inspired by these jewels.
I will be posting more of a concert of Shri Parthasarathy's which I came across through the benevolent hands of Shri Nageswaran of Rasikas. Since youtube has a limit of 10 minutes per episode, I regret to split up the concert into smaller videos.
How can we get this awesome vainika to Canada, specifically Ottawa!??????? What a soulful rendition of hindolam.

Im proud and overjoyed to see my Guru's popularity - that has been eluding him for years - rising up now.
I luckily had the opportunity to cover this concert on video. Even though IT-savvy, It slipped my mind to use the youtube medium to upload this video. Thank you Snageswaran40 and Gopalmeera.
I will try to upload the "ninnuvina" song where he uses the 'Chittibabu' style in plucking strings

Hi. I'm proud to say that he is my guru. The music in this video was mesmerizing, as I have never heard Hindolam as beautiful as this. Looking forward to more posts of his renditions.
