Got some more stuff done on my layout, Just a quick view of some of the things. Paving done but not sanded or painted yet, so it kinda doesn't look matched up yet. most of the turntable is done except the tracks from the roundhouse. Still have some painting and sanding to do. also detail work. Trying to incorporate some of the old things that some roads still use, and that I had either given to me or was just laying around. Working some on my fueling and sanding facility combo, and my Concrete plant. I know it's not truely prototypical but it's mine and I do what I want with it! Making the best out of what I have to work with.

  • cool layout. nice detail. i subscribe

  • thanks!. been kinda slow going lately but got some new updates and other videos comeing soon.

  • Looking great! I love the tracks in concrete. I especially love your static grass applicator! Must be way cheaper than the ones they sell for that purpose.

  • YES! took about $20 in materials to build the aplicator. It does good but you got to keep it really close to where your working so it takes a little more time but it's way cheeper! check out the "how to" that "theBige61" does on how to build it. It's cool and way easier than you would think.

  • Nice Layout. What are you using to pave the roads and the Intermodal facility????

  • also ther is more about it that "thebige61" does a little how to video here on youtube, and also I am doing some "finishing work useing "smooth it" fro woodland scencics. Have learned alot from his videos and Big AL "monsterrailroad" gotta give those guys props!!!!

  • It's looking good. I wouldn't paint the pavement. I'd leave it all mismatched. It looks more realistic. Good work.

  • Cool, thanks for the info.

  • Been useing: Durams "rock hard "water putty. You can get it at LOWES or other hardware stores for $5.50 to $8 for a big can. You can mix in the paint you want to get the color, but I didn't stay consistant with the color and I gotta repaint it. But the stuff is great, a little paveing tape or make forms with balsa wood and it lays just like concrete. Just smaller LOL

  • good video your layout is starting to shape up nicely.
