@piecat42 in real life.
i'm only 28 years old, + i've not seen much film footage of him at all.

Two of my favorite actors ever !

@limeclementine His amassing of power had nothing to do with his ability to "avoid" being labeled as gay. It was well known during the Army/McCarthy hearings that Cohn was on the take from the Senator in order to keep his lover from being deployed in the Army. His associates knew he was gay, and so did the disbarment panel in the end. No one said anything because they were scared of him, scared of McCarthy, Hoffa, and ultimately the CIA. He was a clever SOB, and disease got him in the end.

Why is it that the legal profession produces so many sleazy, amoral individuals like Cohn? You don't seem to see this with doctors or engineers. I mean--is it something they pick up in law school? Or does the legal profession attract these types of people, for some reason?

There's more substance to this 7 minute clip, then you'll get watching hours of your typical movie today.

Every1 please! Roy Cohn isn't gay. He just enjoys getting plowed by numerous men time to time! That doesn't mean he's a homo, perfect reasoning! lmfao!!!
-
@taffysaur seriously? you mean, you didn't know he was gay in real life or you didn't know he was gay in "Angels in America"? because it's obvious in both.

The best scene...

Quite possibly one of the top 5 greatest written scenes in the entire western dramatic canon.
James Cromwell never disappoints either..... He show up in so many great movies and tv shows.

The acting is great. You'd think because of the power position, the doctor would be scared, but in fact, Cohn is losing his power. He's the terrified one. The cracks in the facade are appearing and he is trying to bluff his way through.
