Playstation 2 Portable

You can make a PS2 portable in about 10 min. Just need to drop 200 bucks on a screen, a wireless controller, a porper battery and some mounting tape and voila! ^_^. No modifications needed.

PS2 Slim x 1
Wireless Controller x1
PS2 Slim Mount LCD Screen x1
9v Portable DVD Player Battery x1

*Careful picking your battery! make sure the voltage and other specs works with your ps2 + screen!

Sadly to inform you lot that this particular Combostation (Megacom) screen and the only other decent ps2 screen, 8" lcd by joytech, has been discontinued. Blame the poor economy for the small Taiwanese going bust and the 3rd rate corporation Madcatz for buying up joytech and scraping all their products.

Lets cross our fingers and hope Sony comes around and produce a official ps2 slim screen, but in the mean while ill gloat a little more for owning this particular screen stateside =P

supersmashjim only ps2 slims with broken fans over heat i went out one day all day and forgot to turn off my ps2 and it did not overheat ps2 slims do not overheat

To everybody seeing this video, for the battery he used tacts, sticky things to keep the battery stuck on.

and my question is does a 9V dvd battery work on the ps2 slim?

cause the ps2 needs 8.5v ??mah?

so it's okay with 9v? i mean there's no risk of fry or anything?
