http://www.90mphClub.com - Pitching movement is sometimes affected to pitching angels...not pitching grips.

Some say that pitching grips will make the ball move or that players with longger fingers will get a better pitching grip and therefore get more movement

Best,
Paul Reddick

  • @cfl990 thanks for the conversation,,and good luck to you when you take the bump.thanks again

  • @wogdoggy haha ok im a huge beleiver in hard in soft away just saying sometimes adjustments need to be made

  • @cfl990 I teach always low and outside,,if im comming inside its going to be a curve screwball or heat..more than likeyl a curve..i'll continue to throw all changes low and outside for best success.. UNLESS dave duncan with a pitching chart tells me otherwise.

  • @cfl990 actually the game is very much proper technique through physics..without the proper technique you dont get very far..if you want to continue to deny the barrel leaves the outside of the plate first then why bother? if the barel is gone and your out in front it is PHYSICS cally imposssible to hit the ball.

  • @wogdoggy OK im glad that you have finally admitted that i was right in my original statement which was its not always the best and i never said anything about high changes because you should never throw it high although you may get away with it sometimes its a bad idea

  • @cfl990 if you are talking pros where EVERY pitch is cgharted every hit every swing then yes you may have data that exposes individual hitters tendencies BUT in general MY physics still hold water..IN GENERAL leaving your change up inside will get you in more trouble ESPECIALLY if its UP in the zone than OUTSIDE changes

  • @wogdoggy ANother thing is even if you have them out in front on the low outside but they stay back just long enough even if fooled and they throw the end of the bat on the ball it can go a long way because with your physics that part of the bat will be moving the fastest thus creating more power if you make conact

  • @wogdoggy Im not saying they know whats coming some people are just good hitters baseball is a game adjusments and sometimes the inside change is better you are trying to set up a hitter with good pitches stop basing this solely on physics thats not what it is all about im just saying it is not always the best place for just most of the time if this was a game just of physics a lot more people would be able to play at a high level

  • @cfl990 of course if most batters knew what pitch you were throwing and what location it was at they would have tremendous success NO DOUBT..but think about the physics of the swing and think about what you want your change up to accomplish.you want the hitter on on his front foot COMMITED period.a players barrel passes the outside of the plate first THEN the inside ,IF you throw inside even though he is EARLY he may still be able to foul it off..if he is EARLY on the OUTSIDE the bat is gone

  • @wogdoggy CONT it all depends on the persons swing and approach some people will be able to sit on the outsie one all day and drive it to right or center or lay off it if its low or too outside im just saying its NOT ALWAYS the best spot for it however in most cases and situations it is
