Yep! Rose Chronicles was the first official musical project Kristy was part of. RC was the 2nd or 3rd band Kristy tried out for. She audtioned for Rich Maranda & the drummer & they hired her. Her voice was the perfect marriage for the band's music!

At this point in time Sarah MacLachlan was already pretty famous, at least in Canada. I love Rich's response because I think, at this point, he & his bandmates were tired of the Sarah comparisons. When Rich says "Sarah who?" you can hear Kristy chuckle. It's a cute laugh too!

Yeah, I chuckled myself when I heard Kristy Thirsk laugh! I just find his reaction (and Kristy's too) so funny because of Kristy and Sarah's eventual collaboration that would ultimately become the song she's most known for! I love this video, thanks for posting!

I don't think I've ever seen anyone love a band as much Tara loves the Rose Chronicles. That's a very good thing.
