That's the 2nd season episode The Lambda Factor. The lady in the scene is a woman's whose Psi ability has been unlocked and she can mentally bend people to her will. Tony (the guy) has been paralyzed and Mya (his shapeshifting girlfriend) has just been turned into a catapillar. She walks over and tries to crush her, but then decideds that's too quick. The next scene is her dropping a container on Mya and letting her suffocate to death.
