You need a chop cup.

The rest is sleight of hands so .... practice ; and a lot of patiance too ;-)

There a good video instructions you can get on in any magic stores, get the basics right, then you can invent your own stuff !!!

This triick is a modified one i made up for myself based on a classic chop cup rotine. That's what good about sleight of hands, you can be what you wanna be !!!

You do NOT need a chop cup to do the chop cup ... There is an impromptu chop cup routine that can be done with any cup ... (You only need two "cups and balls"-balls and a cup to do it ). Of course then you cannot lift the cup without showing the ball, when it is lying under it, but by using technices like the putting-it-not-really,-only-fa­ke-under-the-cup (known from cups and balls routines) and passing the "one" ball through the solid cup are possible with a bit of practice)
