@tedz0999 ...and for a good reason. The Dutch team Feyenoord was European Cup winner (how the Champions league was called in those days) in 1970, Ajax was 2nd in 1969 and won the European cup in '71, '72 and '73. Both teams also became world champion. That was the enormous foundation of the team of '74. It just wasn't their day in '74....

@tedz0999 The best Dutch team was the team of '74....why they never won that final is still as of today a big question for millions of people all over the world...many consider it even the best team ever.

This is not the dutch dream team. They had very good team, with players like bergkamp, kluivert, davids, overmars, but they weren't better than brazil at that time.
I was fan of dutch and barca at the time, a lot of dutch played for barca.
