Automatic movement from a vintage swiss made men's wristwatch. Love this vintage Doxa. Not sure how old it is but after cleaning it up it keeps excellent time and runs beautifully. Some visible weathering on the dial and hands, but still a handsome piece. Crystal is without flaw. This video shows the movement operating close up. Just staring at working mechanical watch movements has a very soothing, hypnotic effect. With the current state of world affairs who among us isn't unsettled and disturbed; volatile stock market, economic meltdown, multiple wars and conflict, increasing inflation and unemployment...etc... I can find some sense of ease and comfort in the workings of a finely crafted Swiss watch.

based on the look of the Incabloc cap jewel and spring set-up I am going to guess about 1958
