As much as I support the Americans being in Iraq for at least the time being, 50 bases is far too many and clearly not for the benefit of the Iraqi people. Its designed for the next wars, i.e. for Israel. So instead of Americans causing another disaster so soon, how about give Iraq more time. Army, economy, democracy... etc etc. Otherwise they, along with us, shall lose big time.

I don't even know if it's about oil, I think the war by itself is reason enough. A war is like a blank check for Haliburton, Kellogg, Enron and all the others. Just wave the flag and claim you're doing it for the troops and the people will give you all the money you ask for.
