There's a lot less people on it these days, but it's still a viable chat system if you like things on the less user friendly side.

I used to use a gaming related IRC channel for about four or five years. I had a few minor bust ups with people, took a break from it and then realised that all these great "friends" I'd met where really fellow bar-flies that I'd never hear from again. I've started to get back into it a bit with an RISC OS related one and the Sunday night RG one, when I remember. That channel might be quite good if we could get a shout out for it in the mag.

I might check out the one you mentioned some time.

Yeah, it's strange: everything suddenly sped up for me again a few hours later. :S Guess BT were worried I'd be sending them a nasty email. :P

Youtube's shockingly slow. I'm finding I can only get it working at a useful speed at around 3am.

One more thing I forgot to ask: is it just me or is YouTube stupendously slow again atm? Then again, everything is for me right now, bandwidth is next to non-existent. Probably BT's self-imposed "heavy user restriction" policy crap.
