    Don't stay just with this; it's a good song but ELO has many more deeper and more interesting songs. Take a listen to the whole "Out of the blue" album, then there's "A new world record", "Face the music", "Time", etc...

    I discovered this song/band researching early vocoder use on Wikipedia. Apparently the melodic notes at the end [4:23] is the vocoded phrase "Please turn me over" (i.e. flip the record, as this was the last song on side 3). Glad I got to hear this; masterful song.
