A combination of classical music (Bach I think) and praises of Motown (one of many tunes to do this. Check out the Poppies 'Lulaby of Love'! ) Toys,' 'Lover's Concerto' is pure poetry. A true love song. A gem to listen and dance to.. that's all i can say! COOP.

This was truly one of the greatest songs of it's time. Long gone are the days of true talent and musical genius. Now, in these days and times, it seems as if anyone with a gimmick can go gold. It would be great for those us who really enjoy good music, if good music could find its way back to us.

I knew the Bach version before I heard the Toys. But that's because I'm Asian.

I heard this song for the first time a couple of years ago on one of those tv ads.
This song was released the year of 1965 & peaked at # 2 on the singles chart.
I think it's a # 1 hit.

Who great ideal it was for them to sit down during this performance. I hate to see sit down performances.

Damn good!
I loved this song so much when I was a teen..and never knew until I got older that the tune for it was written by the great composer Bach! So when I got married, I had this tune (Bach version) played while my bridemaids walked down the aisle. Love the TOYS there were a wonderful group!
