What purpose does the fiberglass cloth serve? It seems like an unnecessary step.

People had always said the fiberglass dry walling and I thought why not body repair fiberglass cloth. Thanks

Got the FeatherFire design down now, thanks to Drak (NCHiker1970). Ours are different in the cans we use, but the same as the original in usability! Peace.

You can also find 3 and 4 inch strainer sets at Dollar Tree for $1.00. The 3 incher fits in the top of a Heiny pot. Don't know how usesful that might be, but it fits!

Any idea where to get the tin? Found them on walmart website but you have to buy a 20 pack.

I got mine from a hobby shop...in a 20 pack. They are sold as wedding favor tins, at least the ones I purchased. The tins have many uses, so I didn't have any issue buying in that bulk. Sorry I couldn't point you in a direction for smaller numbers, my friend. Peace.
