  • I forgot how to spell sulpher. It's a known fact that the poles are shifting so climate change is not causing that to occur. The earth is going through natural changes which will occur regardless of carbon emissions etc. I will agree that we are responsible for some of the pollution but corporations are most likely more so. The worst pollution is NOISE pollution. Something completely ignored..

  • Havn't you heard! It's now SULPHA emissions, being blamed on China for theie high usage of coal.

  • if global warming is not man-made, why even bother with renewable energy?

  • @vidmanx0 Oh, only the most powerful people in the world who gave him a standing ovation at the TED conference.

  • @vidmanx0 Who cares what Bill Gates says?

  • Yeah, Bill Gates says that all countries should immediately switch to nuclear power to buy us some time to invent renewable energy sources.

  • Australia's climate commissioner predicted that most urban water supplies (dams) would be dried up by 2009. Most of them are now currently full and Victoria is looking pretty silly for spending billions on a desalination plant which, by the way, was recently flooded (!)

UN Funded Scientists? See watch?v=qbn6-5lbshA (towards the end)

  • @drkstrong Gee mate you didn't mean UN-funded scientists, environmental foundation funded scientists...

  • Most scientists agree witht he AGW theory: According to polls of scientists:

Climatologists: 97% agree 3% dont know

    Scientists in general: 85%

    Petroleum geologists: 47%

31,000 scientists reprsent about 0.1% of the US trained scientists (graduated - retired)

Urban heat island effect: How does that explain the rise of ocean temperatures down to depths of 700m - not many cities there!
