Fantastic performance! I used to have a French copy on an old reel to reel, but had long lost it. Thankyou for making it available on the Net. Doesn't the finale make your hair stand on end!

What a shame this piece is rarely, if ever, played. A true masterpiece by the greatest of the Romantic composers!!

Russian public is as hot as an ice cube.After such performance they react like it was just another 'song'.Maybe it is the Siberian cold, maybe it is the political 'elite' or the new rich who were at the concert hall, who knows.
