2005: Before there was Green Bean, there was Short Wave

Short Wave covers The Amps 1995 ode to dry heaves, "Empty Glasses," at Providence's, now defunct, "Gigga's" Living Room.

Short Wave was a rock band active from 2003 to 2009, experiencing numerous line-up changes and stylistic shifts over the six year period. In later years the band was known as Green Bean, but they continued to perform much of the same material. The Short Wave period of the band drew heavily from lofi and grunge rock bands from the previous decade. They released two EPs and appeared on numerous compilation albums for the label Doctor Corporate before changing the name to Green Bean and releasing two full length LPs, "Corporate Appease" and "Ghost in a Snowstorm", in 2006 and 2010 respectively.
