Just curious... was Ms. Lawson the weekend anchor in 1978? I recall, about a month before turning 8, my folks and I lived in Louisiana(New Iberia) and used the early part of Thanksgiving week to see my uncle in Houston. After we got into the hotel, we turned on the 5:30 Eyewitness News show, and I recall someone looking like her at the anchor desk.

It was actually a woman named Diana Fallis who was also a reporter at the time. I might have a clip from the late 70s when she was anchoring, and I'll upload it when I find it!

While, the RPN NewsWatch did use News Series 2000 from July 2, 1984 to February 28, 1986 and October 9, 1989 to September 30, 1994

Houstontvnews, my cousin told me that Diana Fallis was let go after an embarrassing incident where she fell down on the newsdesk somewhere around 82-83 I think.

You mean the Loren Legarda the VP with Villar was actually an anchor on ABS-CBN in 1985. When ABS-CBN used Cool hand Luke. Please upload it.
