@irun012 in order to make it to the NHL, or even the AHL/feeder league where Scott came from, he had to be the best player on his team through high school and juniors. To say he is a bad hockey player 'relative to other players in the NHL' is fair. To say he's a bad hockey player in general is just disrespectful of the work he put in to make it this far. HAWKS RULE

@dnlgberry scott is too tough he would man handle anyone. Except chara but thats because chara only wrestles. He never punches he only pulls.

@seismicdeathgrip yeah sometimes coach Q puts him on the PK unit. but yeah thank God Scott can fight so well and is the undisputed heavy weight champ in the NHL, otherwise he'd be a nobody on the ice. he is just a freakin monster tho.

John Scott kill penalties? he gets, on average about 4:00 toi per game. If he's on the PK something has gone HORRIBLY HORRIBLY wrong. Fourth liner at best, putting him at D is a liability. But boy can he punch.
