  • have a good cough..... and get ya voice working properly..! get the gravel out man.

  • does it have reversible prop?

  • Any commercial operators using this aircraft or mostly missions? Any bush operators in Alaska? I mostly see the Caravan being used by feeder operators.

  • does it have a right side door? for float operations?

  • It's a PAC and an otter mixed... I like the pac750xl better

  • c208 can perform well on a short crappy strip too with only 2 pilots on board.

  • @playthebible "The Cessna uses aviation fuel and the Kodiak uses jet fuel"

They are referring to a Cessna 208 Caravan which has a Pratt & Whitney PT6A-114A , a less powerful version of the PT6A-34 in the Kodiak. MAF also uses the C208B Caravan - qoute "Right now, there is simply no other single engine aircraft in the category of a Caravan which is better suited for the work in southern Sudan, and most regions in Africa, and blesses us with a similar operational flexibility and reliability."

  • It might look like a Cessna but it is not. The Cessna uses aviation fuel and the Kodiak uses jet fuel. What's the difference? The Kodiak can fly more passengers and cargo for half the price. This humanitarian organization

has about 30 Cessna 206's and are in the process of replacing them with Kidoaks because they can get them in and out of the same areas at about half the cost of fuel.
