Why is Tony speaking so weird?
-
@MIKESOWELL exactly. at first they played it out like it was all about the family, so people got wrong ideas about mafia and started rooting for the bad guy, but after season four they really upped the creepiness level. everybody was like, "WOW, tony is such an asshole!" what the hell did they think he was?
and that explains the ending too. Chase didn't want to show that evil prevails. he wanted to show that no matter how good of a criminal you are. this way of life is still wrong.

@dr1345 I think that Chase was surprised that people took a liking to Tony's character. A similar reaction was seen with the Archie Bunker character in 'All in The Family." Gradually, his character became more likeable (relatively speaking). With Tony, Chase didn't want any of this shit, lol.

@BayAreaOrBust increasingly? he was a piece of shit from the very beginning. he's a criminal sociopath murderer for Christ sakes. it's just at the end of the series writers took a turn to a more heavy, creepy, and grim depiction of the characters and the story, so the viewers don't get any ideas about these people being actually cool or god forbid in any way good.

If only Silvio and Paulie found about this.

I like how Carmella is demeaning Meadow for being a pediatrician instead of a radiologist.. as if pediatricians dont make enough money... lmao. Perfect italian

@chunkymilk they truely are..the most accurate depiction of the mob ever

1:08 "You get away with murder because you're his boss." It's like she means it both literally and figuratively. These writers are geniuses.
haha, you gotta love chrissy, he always has perfect comedy timing.
