Part 12 of an oral history featuring former Manzanar Committee Chair Sue Kunitomi Embrey, who was one of 11,070 people who were imprisoned at Manzanar during World War II. In this clip, she talks about what she learned from her imprisonment at Manzanar and how it inspired her to become an activist and to organize the annual Manzanar Pilgrimage. She also discussed the Japanese American redress movement and the Constitutional issues raised by the incarceration. © 2002, National Park Service. Used with permission.
