The rear end is being covered to disguise the changes before launch. This is not uncommon when testing future road cars on the street before mass production. They are doing cold weather testing obviously. So for the folks thinking this will be the new rear end you are mistaken.

I can say 100% this is a new porsche, BUT it have a ''mask'' on it, a plastic shell outside the orginal shell so peoples wont see the final product.

It will look good if it has new rear end instead of the bored rear end in 997 as in this vid.
