This song so fits him sense he was kidnapped....i'm sure he wanteed someone to hear him. It's so sad his remains have never been found.....

@starswonder120 There were hundreds of stories made up, they reckon they found his body on a hillside years late other say they cut him up and ate him and other says he was sent to France. Its such a shame tho!! Poor Jelousy

A witness said he was shot w/ a machine gun and wouldn't die so they kept shooting him and he slipped on his own blood then died of loss of blood. It's on Wikapedia go & look if u don't believe me... I think it's horrible when ppl do tht especially 2 such a great horse =(

Thank you BaileyJane. So i was on the right path afterall. So so sad. Why did the Aga Khan never paid the ransom? I know you can't answer that, but i think it's a shame he never did. Shergar will live in the hearts of his fans for ever. He was magic..

He was kidnapped in Ireland in February 1983, just before his second stud season. The generally accepted account is that Shergar was abducted by an IRA unit who killed him a few days later when negotiations for a £2 million ransom had stalled and the horse was becoming uncontrollable. His remains have never been found.

Hmmm..at this very moment i'm trying to learn about his story, and it's not sure it was something political..
I remember at that time people told me he was kidnapped by the IRA. But i was really young at that time. Can somebody tell me the one and only truth about him, or is there no such thing as only truth here?? Wow...

it's not possible that he was your horses grandad, shergar was gelded so he couldn't be put to stud. Either that or he wasn't fertile.
