This looks like the work noobish SMW hacker playing with the palette settings in Lunar Magic. Nauseating. Just terrible.

Wait in the GBA version there are 68 dk coins? The original snes verison only had 40..where are the other 18 coming from?
But anyways, yeah I do not like how they made this level for the GBA version...
-
@GaraOFtheeFUNK It is bashed so much, like its junk. The green was a baddddd move. I said SNES is better but GBA is not as bad as everyone thinks.
-
@onecrazyninjamonkey All the GBA had was remakes...... -.-
-
@GaraOFtheeFUNK CMON GUYS! Its the reason that some of the people who are younger have heard of the game! SNES is better but can we give GBA chance here?

What happened to this level:
Port developer: "I'm going on my lunch break, boss!"
Boss: "The hell you are! Just eat a little quicky right here and keep porting this."
Port developer: "All right, jeez. All I got is an oyster anyway..."
Boss: "Then shove it down your throat and keep up the work."
Port developer: *eats oyster and pukes* "Tastes like shit! Maybe eating a three month old oyster wasn't such a good idea..."
Boss: D:< You dumbass, you puked all over the Toxic Tower textures!
Blech, those colors are disgusting. And the worst part is, you can easily tell they've been recolored!

@SergeantLuke Quoted for truth. I actually played this version BEFORE the SNES version (heck, at the time I hadn't even SEEN the SNES version yet), and yet I could still tell that the colors were hideous and recolored.

If the GBA was as powerful as the Super Nintendo (if not more) then why did Rare make changes to the graphics colors? Was it because they thought the original darker colors wouldn;t be bright enough on the small GBA screen? Maybe not enough people had the backlight SP.
TargetRender 1 year ago
@TargetRender Perhaps that's the case, but this game came out in 2004, about a year and a half after the GBA SP came out. I doubt many people still had a GBA at that point... and if the original GBA was an issue, then Rare should have made two brightness settings like Mario vs. Donkey Kong does.
Also, Rare is much worse than it used to be.
